It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Following the success of last year's conference, Fast Forward is delighted to announce the second Scottish Gambling Education Conference on Thursday 16 November 2023, on the theme of Engaging Community Voices.
Aimed at anyone who works with children, young people, and families across Scotland, this hybrid event can be attended virtually or in person at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh.
The conference will focus on people in our communities we aren't hearing from and why. The conference aims to:
- Look at which communities they aren't being heard when discussing gambling harm
- Identifying barriers and challenges for individuals who aren't heard from
- Share success and good practice
- Create space to reflect and discuss how everyone can do better and engage with those voices going forward
There will be lots of opportunities for networking, and practical and interactive workshops to stimulate engagement. They'll also be showcasing peer inspiration and education projects developed by young people. There will be keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops which you can sign up to.
The Fast Forward AGM is being held after the conference ends and everyone is welcome to stay. You can book your space at the AGM here.
