    Post: Support Workers 

    Hours: Part-time (minimum 64 hours over 4 weeks)

    Salary: £10.92 weekday and £14.56 weekend
     

    Due to a significant increase in funding, Crossroads Fife is currently looking for highly motivated caring individuals to join their well-established and professional team of Support Workers throughout Fife. 

    Crossroads Fife supports individuals with any illness and/or disability in their own home and to access their local community. You will have the opportunity to make a difference to individuals' lives whilst caring for them and providing their full-time family carer with a short break.

    Terms and Conditions of Employment 

    • Mileage costs are reimbursed 
    • Fixed working pattern with regular hours and client base 
    • Contributary pension scheme 
    • 5.6 weeks' annual leave 

    About You 

    • Availability for this part-time role (minimum 64 hours over 4 weeks)
    • Working pattern will include some evening work, and two out of four weekends 
    • Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Registration and Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Registration will be required for all successful candidates
    • It is preferred that candidates hold (although not essential) or be willing to work towards (SVQ2) Social Services and Healthcare SVQ Level 7
    • A driving licence and use of a car with business insurance is essential
