Fife Council Education & Children's Services - Voluntary Sector Funding Children, Young People & Families
Created: 25/09/2023, Updated: 03/10/2023Fife Council Education & Children's Services provides funding to third sector agencies to provide services and supports to Children, Young People and Families throughout Fife. Awards are aligned to Fife Council's Corporate Grants Framework and the current commissioning cycle draws to a close in March 2024.
A fresh commissioning cycle will run from April 2024 through to March 2027. Priorities have emerged from a high-level Strategic Needs Analysis (SNA), which reaffirms existing commitments to support families to remain safely living together through the provision of early intervention supports at the additional stage of the Child’s Wellbeing Pathway and targeted supports at the Intensive stage.
Applications opened on 02 October 2023 and a one-off bulletin will be sent out w/c 2nd October with links to the applications and service briefs which will also be published on FVA’s website. The closing date for applications is 01 December 2023. Applications are aligned to Commissioning Briefs which set out priorities and outcomes which are:
1 - Rights & Advocacy for Looked After Children
2 - Poverty in the Early Years
2a - Whole Family Supports - Trauma & Adversity
2b - Whole Family Supports for Teenagers & Transitions
3 - Children & Young People affected by Disability
4 - Children & Young People affected by Domestic Abuse
6 - Children & Young People with or affected by Substance Use.
