It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
At some point in our lives, many of us spend time trying to help family or friends manage their mental health. Few of us think of ourselves as unpaid carers or are aware that support could be available to help us in our caring role.
Change Mental Health is marking World Mental Health Day 2023 (10 October) with Making Connections and Changing Lives in Fife, an event which is a direct response to the challenges unpaid carers face daily. This event is a great opportunity to meet in a safe space to learn and connect.
On the day they are offering a series of morning and afternoon presentations, workshops, and therapies for people supporting others with their mental health. Those include presentations about carer's rights (Mental Welfare Commission), men's mental health (Andy's Man Club), caring for somebody experiencing psychosis (Change Mental Health), and a range of low impact physical activity workshops.
