Created: 08/09/2023Post: Programme Manager (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) or 0.8 full-time equivalent (28 hours per week), but we would consider requests for fewer hours
Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity working locally to bring people together, take positive action on the climate emergency, and support people experiencing fuel poverty and food insecurity. They want Kirkcaldy to be a good place to live and work. They believe in a future where everyone has a say in what happens locally, people are working together to protect our environment, and those in hardship are supported to live well.
Greener Kirkcaldy's team of 40 staff and 100 volunteers deliver a wide range of grant-funded projects and social enterprise (income-generating) activities. They work in Kirkcaldy and across the region of Fife, often in partnership with other charities, public sector organisations, and social enterprises. Their work is diverse and includes programmes of action on climate change, fuel poverty and food insecurity, encouraging individuals, households, community groups, and businesses to make Fife a greener and fairer place to live.
They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager (Maternity Cover) to play a key role in leading and supporting their operational teams. You will lead and support four Project Managers and a Volunteer Coordinator to deliver operational objectives. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will also play a key organisation-wide role, ensuring effective practice around impact evaluation and quality management.
This is a fixed term contract until 28 February 2025, with possibility of extension. You must submit your application using the application form - they will not accept CVs. The application form can be found on the Greener Kirkcaldy website.
E-mail your application to [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 09 October 2023. Interviews take place on Wednesday 25 October 2023.
