This is the first in a series of briefings that will help guide you through the implementation of the new national child protection guidance here in Fife.
The Introduction to the ambitions of the National Guidance for Practitioners covers the ambitions for the new guidance and further updates will be provided over the coming months using a seven minute briefing approach.
This first briefing gives a short overview of some of the upcoming changes, and this will be followed by further editions as new elements of the guidance begin to be rolled out. You will be supported in this by work within your own agency and contact details are given in this introductory note for the main statutory bodies.
In addition, the Child Protection Committee is developing a series of training events to cover some of the key aspects of the new guidance.
