    It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

    FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.

    The Scottish Government has rolled out the Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) & Delivery Plan, which has already been piloted across may local authorities in Scotland.

    This highly amitious strategy strategy aims to systematically improve energy efficiency across the entirety of Scotland to keep in line with the Scottish governments net zero targets, and includes a review of all Scottish buildings towards decarbonising heat.

    Fife Council is currently developing its local LHEES strategy and delivery plan.  Local Authorities are required to publish the first iteration of the LHEES by 31st December 2023 and this will of course have significant implications for the third and public sectors in Fife.

    At this session, Hamish Martin from Fife Council will join us to tell us:

    •  What the LHEES is, and what this means for Fife;
    •  How the Scottish Government’s targets will affect your organisation and service users;
    •  How Fife is prioritising actions to guide the process;
    •  How Fife is identifying strategic heat decarbonisation zones, and potential district heat network zones.

    The LHEES consultation is now live. Click here to find out how to take part
