    Created: 17/08/2023
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Community Programme is funded by the Baring Foundation for three years from May 2022 – May 2025. The aim of the project is to deliver on BIHR’s Strategic Aim 2: to strengthen the agency and voice of community groups and voluntary groups to address social justice issues using human rights. The programme has six different phases which will repeat annually in what they are calling a project cycle.

Applications are currently open for this year's opportunity for community and voluntary groups to co-design a human rights solution with BIHR.

They are providing free community or voluntary group support worth between £8,000 and £10,000 to create a human rights solution that works for you.

Applications are open until 5pm on 29 August 2023. Click here to apply and find out more about the programme.

There are also Easy Read applications available upon request.
