Learning Resources and Materials – Trauma-Informed Practice
Created: 11/08/2023Fife Council has recently distributed a this flier which collates resources and training relating to trauma-informed practice that are freely available, either from the national trauma training team or Fife specific offerings.
The flyer brings all resources and training together and groups them according to job role so that individuals and services can identify what training and resources are suitable for employees.
At a recent meeting of Fife Council’s Leaders (CET), the Council gave its support to plans for developing a trauma informed workforce and organisation. CET agreed that the level 1 e-learning module “Becoming Trauma Informed” would now be mandatory for all Fife Council staff who have access to the learning management system, Oracle Learning. For those who do not have access, resources are being developed which will enable managers to brief their teams.

It is noted that all staff working on employability projects funded by the Opportunities Fife Partnership are expected to be trauma-informed to Level 1.
