    Post: Fundraising Officer
    Hours: 10 per week to be worked flexibly
    Contract: 1 year (fixed-term)
    Salary: £13.50 per hour
    Closing date: Friday 08 September

    It is the mission of the Kirkcaldy Foodbank that nobody in the Kirkcaldy area goes hungry and that everyone shares what they have. To help it achieve that aim, in partnership with The Linton Lane Centre, it is looking to appoint a freelance Fundraising Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying sources of funding that will help support the ongoing work of Kirkcaldy Foodbank.

    The freelance post will work closely with the Kirkcaldy Foodbank to coordinate applications for funding and to assist in developing new and sustainable funding routes in addition to inspiring potential supporters.

    This post is funded by Fife Council.

    Essential attributes:

    • a self-motivated individual
    • effective communication skills and attention to detail
    • previous experience in the voluntary sector
    • knowledge of local and national funding streams

    Hours are flexible and include partial homeworking.
