    Costs
This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £25.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.

Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

The event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action in partnership with Fife Council and the Scottish Community Development Network (SCDN) as community development approaches are even more vital than ever. As we re-build and reshape services, working meaningfully with people to do so, we need to ensure we are building resilient and empowered communities and that we are addressing the things that matter most to them.

This event is open to anyone who adopts a community development approach in their practice. You may be a member of a third sector organisation, a volunteer/activist or community development practitioner, who is involved in community development work.

Some key things we will cover on the day include:

    • Understanding how Community Development is driving change throughout Scotland.
    • Learning about some good practice in community development currently taking place in Fife
    • How community development work is contributing to the “Plan4Fife”.
    • An opportunity to share your community development practice with others.
    • A discussion on how best to take the SCDN Fife Network forward.

An opportunity to network with other community development colleagues.
