Publication of Skills Delivery Landscape Review Report

James Withers’ Independent Review of the Skills Delivery Landscape report was published on 07 June. The report sets out fifteen recommendations for change in the delivery landscape for post-school education and skills. Five of the recommendations focus on the structure of the future public body landscape and the remainder relate to its operation and delivery.

The Review was initiated to ensure that the agency landscape is fit for purpose to deliver key priority ambitions on developing a skilled workforce in the National Strategy for Economic Transformation. The report covers the Review’s wide remit, including regional and national skills planning, and parity of esteem for all learning pathways.
