  • Fife Gingerbread launches new Project

    From 10 July 2023 Fife Gingerbread will run their new Family Approach project - and will be accepting referrals in 3 specific Fife Council wards:

    • Cardenden,Benarty, Lochgelly
    • Kirkcaldy East and Kirkcaldy Central
    • Methil, Buckhaven and Wemyss

    The project will work holistically with families in the six child poverty priority groups to remove barriers and support parents to progress towards sustainable employment.  Support will be targeted around the whole family’s needs. In addition to loan parents, Fife Gingerbread will be working with families in any of the following categories:

    • Families with a disabled person,
    • Ethnic minority families,
    • Families with a child under 1 year,
    • Families with 3 plus children,
    • Families with mum’s under 25
