The Institute for Public Policy Research Scotland, Save the Children and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation have together published a report on the social and economic impact of poverty in Scotland.

It calls for the development of a “minimum income guarantee”- noting that the extent to which families in Scotland do not have enough income to afford a decent standard of living, benchmarked against their minimum income standard, is around £5.6 billion per year.
