News/Events Category: General NewsPrinces Trust will run Get Into: Health and Social Care - a 4 week course in employability running in Glenrothes over July and August.
There is a selection day on 20 June, and young people wishing to attend the course must apply to Princes Trust before this date.
Dates: 10th July - 4th August
The course is open to young people aged 16-30 who are not in full-time work or education
- Get PVG check as part of course
- Gain work experience with a social care employer in Fife
- Great introduction to working in health & social care
- Topics include: Values based recruitment, team work, communication
- Opportunities to learn about jobs in health and social care in Fife
- Gain a sector-specific qualification to add to CV as well as work towards SVQ qualification
- Interview for a live vacancy at end of the course
- Lunch and travel costs covered and childcare cost support available if required
