Frontline Fife is a mid-sized charity which works to end homelessness through preventative action and by supporting people to choose the life they aspire to.

In developing our Recovery Link team, they are now recruiting for a one-year paid internship role. This is a great opportunity for those wishing to take forward a career in Addiction services and wider health and social care services.  By offering peer support and through harm reduction practices you will enable people to choose, plan and establish their recovery journey and assist them to access and engage with community-based services and support networks which work for them. As a commitment to your development, they will offer a depth of on-the-job experience while supporting you to achieve a recognised SVQ3 qualification.

A key focus of the role is acting as a peer mentor for service users to show change is possible. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to draw upon your personal skills and experiences in a confident, empathetic, and compassionate way. If you are passionate about helping others, want to take on a meaningful and rewarding role, and are motivated to take your skills and experience to the next level through learning and development then we want to hear from you.
