    Grants are awarded by the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust for projects and activities with social, community, educational, cultural, sporting and recreational purposes.

    The Trust looks for innovative and far reaching proposals, together with those that particularly impact on young people and is interested in supporting active partnerships where organisations decide to work together and adopt a joint approach.

    Grants are awarded over 4 broad categories –

    • Creative arts;
    • Community;
    • Schools;
    • Sport.

    Awards are typically between £300 and £10,000.

    Who can apply

    The geographic area of the Trust is defined as 'Dunfermline and its environs', as determined by the Trustees. Applicants must be based in or intending to use the funds for the benefit of this area.

    This can include sports clubs and schools, voluntary sector organisations, clubs and societies and environmental and community development.

    When to apply

    Trustees meet every two months and applications can be submitted at any time.

    How to apply

    Application forms are available from the Trust website or the office and an initial discussion with the Grants Officer is strongly encouraged.
