Post: Distribution Centre Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
The Big Hoose Project was established in December 2021 to support children and families experiencing poverty across Fife with essential household items. They have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, highly committed and customer-focused Distribution Centre Manager to join their friendly and dynamic team.
The position would suit someone with experience in delivering outstanding customer service and leading people in a warehouse environment incorporating both inbound and outbound operations.
Engage, direct and support a small team to safely and efficiently receive, sort, check and pack customer orders for collection;
Develop processes and independently identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and operational efficiency;
Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers, suppliers, volunteers and visitors.
Experience in customer facing roles across operations / supply chain / logistics / e-commerce or similar;
Ability to lead and motivate people in a fast paced, dynamic and customer-focused environment;
Excellent verbal and written communication, decision making, coaching and personal development skills;
Experience of using and analysing data using Excel, and maintaining accurate stock records.
