Salary: £12.93 per hourChildren's Contact Centres are similar to a nursery/after school care setting in that they are safe, child friendly, staffed and neutral places. There are certain rules that apply which all focus on the children who use the centres, and are for their benefit. The difference is that children's contact centres are places where children can come visit, and spend time with a parent or any other family member (for example siblings, grandparents) where there are difficulties with maintaining or building these relationships without support.
Sessional / part-time opportunities have arisen to work in their Children's Contact Centres in Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy, on Saturdays (day shift). Some weekday availability would be desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided, and the Service will cover the cost of the appropriate PVG scheme application or update.

If you have worked with children, young people, and families in any capacity (safeguarding, extra-curricular activities, sports and leisure, ELC, primary/secondary schools, social work, family law, etc.), or are studying to work with them in the future, they are keen to hear from you.
