Money Advice Scotland: Free financial wellbeing workshops
Created: 09/05/2023Money Advice Scotland delivers online workshops to groups of people across the country. Standard workshops are one hour long, and each covers a different personal finance-related topic. All workshops are interactive and include a Q&A session at the end.
Workshop topics include:
- financial independence
- money management
- renting
- mortgages and buying a home
- credit and debt
- buying a car
- having a baby
- energy bills and support available
- savings and financial goals
- planning for later life: pensions and retirement
- money and work
All workshops are free and predominantly delivered online via Teams or Zoom. This can be done completely online- with attendees each receiving a copy of the link- or as a hybrid where some attendees are together in person, and others are online. In-person workshops can be arranged however this is subject to availability and in consideration of the needs of the group.
