This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Our Volunteer Managers' Forums are open to anyone who works in Fife and who is involved in the recruitment and/or management/supervision of volunteers.

They provide an opportunity to share information and resources, discuss issues of common interest, access professional development, make new connections and collaborate on projects and activities. You'll also get the chance to catch up with changes happening in the field, discuss issues you may have and ask questions of the guest speaker and FVA staff who will be in attendance.

At this forum, we plan to share with you the outcome of our volunteer managers' Focus Group and online survey - we'll share the key ideas and themes that emerged and how you would like us to support you. *Spoiler Alert* one of the ideas was the possible development of a volunteers support network (peer support), whether within individual organisations or beyond. This could have benefits to reducing isolation for volunteers who carry out their volunteering alone, or other volunteers who experience isolation or mental health/wellbeing issues. We have therefore invited Trish O'Brien, the coordinator of FVA's Mental Health Peer Support Network to speak to us about the development of that network, what we might learn from it and apply in our own organisations.

There will also be the usual sector updates, stories from Volunteers' Week (do share yours!) and the chance for informal networking from 1.30pm with formal proceedings starting at 2.00pm. We hope to see you there.
