  • NHS Education for Scotland seeks your views on its draft Strategy for 2023 - 26

    Created: 13/04/2023

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) has published its draft Strategy for 2023-26 for your consideration and feedback.

Centred round the themes of People, Partnership and Performance, the draft Strategy sets out how NES plans to work with staff, learners, partners and those who use health and social care services to make a positive difference to health and wellbeing, focusing on four key areas:

    • Education, Training and Workforce Development
    • Data, Intelligence and Workforce Supply
    • Educational Research
    • Digital Innovation and Delivery

The heart of this draft strategy is NES's fundamental belief in being adaptive, creative and responsive to the needs of the workforce and communities. The team believes is can achieve this by focusing on the people it is here to support, forging strong partnerships, and delivering the best performance with the resources it already has.

Through this consultation - which closes on 01 May 2023 - NES is seeking the views of its learners, educators, partners and stakeholders to help the team to better understand what is important to people and further shape its strategic intent.
