Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS) have an upcoming webinar in partnership with Interface to look at how collaborating with academia can support net zero goals. Creative Carbon Scotland will participate in the webinar and talk about how their partnership with a University has helped them achieve their net zero ambitions. Interface specialise in matching academics and enterprises and it’s something they are trying to make the wider Third Sector aware of, particularly as it’s a free service and they can often recommend funding sources for research and development projects too.
On the webinar, it will talk about the work of the wider third sector group to support social enterprises in achieving the Scottish Government’s 2045 Net Zero ambitions under the ‘Climate Confident Scotland’ banner. Group members include CEIS, SCVO, Firstport, Social Enterprise Scotland, Social Investment Scotland, Scottish Communities Climate Action Network (CAN), Circular Communities Scotland, Scottish Community Alliance, Scottish Communities Finance, Development Trusts Association Scotland, Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (representing TSIs).
