Created: 03/04/2023Post: Support Practitioner
Hours: Permanent / Variable Hours
Salary: £22,917 per annum
Location: Glenrothes
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland (TRFS) is looking for caring, supportive, adaptable, approachable, empathetic, fun and positive individuals across several services in Glenrothes and surrounding areas. Some posts cover surrounding locations such as Auchtermuchty, Thornton, Kettlebridge, Cardenden, Kirkaldy, whilst some may be based in Glenrothes itself only. It has part time, full time and bank contracts available. Some posts are for day shifts only whilst other posts include sleepover shifts (sleepover payments are £87 per sleepover on top of your contracted salary). Due to the nature of the services in this area, TRFS can only accept applications from candidates who have a valid full driving license (manual) and access to their own vehicle.
You will be paid for your travel time while on shift and there is also a 45p per mile fuel allowance. Certain services operate enhanced weekend rates of £14.53 per hour (increasing after 01 April 2023). Please note that all posts are offered on a shift pattern basis and will include weekend and public holiday shifts, however we have shift patterns to suit your availability as a part time or bank staff member. Please feel free to contact us on 07884 602 630 or [email protected] to discuss your availability.
For all posts the induction training takes place during the day in the new Kirkcaldy office.
No previous experience in care is required as we provide full in-house training to all new staff members and will even invest in you to achieve your SVQ Level 2, so even if this is a new career path for you, TRFS would love to meet you. What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude.
For more information and to apply, please visit TRFS's website. The closing date for applications is 10 May 2023.
