K107FM, the award-winning community radio station from Kirkcaldy, has today launched its on-air content to connected TV’s across most of Scotland.

The station has joined UK Radio Portal (UKRP), an interactive Freeview service designed to bring local, regional and national radio stations to televisions directly from Freeview channel 277, with no subscription, sign-up process, app download or app installation required. The service is also available on Amazon Fire TV stick devices.

Alex Airnes, K107FM Press, Programming and Promotions said:

“Joining UK Radio Portal allows us to work with local partners and advertisers, offering on-screen advertising. We can now offer content directly linked to our programming, public service information or sponsorship content with QR codes directing listeners to stakeholders and their websites."

"Furthermore, we have a way for those with a connection to our area to listen in to the station from across most of Scotland. We look forward to welcoming new listeners and advertisers and would welcome those with an interest in being displayed “on-screen” to make contact via [email protected]
