    Hours: 35 hrs p/w - Part Time

    Salary: £23,674 - £24,406 per annum

    Fife Young Carers (FYC) is looking for a creative and energetic individual, with experience working with vulnerable children and young people in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will have great communication and organisational skills and be able to work sensitively with children and young people of all ages. 

    The post holder will be responsible for providing a befriending service to Young Carers who are socially isolated and for recruiting and supporting a network of volunteer befrienders.

    You must be enthusiastic, have a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving, an effective networker and proven team player.  Experience in training volunteers and supporting young people in the above context would be an advantage.

    Own transport is essential. Hours are worked flexibly, but you should expect to work some evenings and weekends.
