News/Events Category: General NewsA Local Development Plan (LDP) is produced by each local authority in Scotland in collaboration with communities, third sector organisations, businesses, and other stakeholders. It guides development within Fife setting out the long-term future of land use whilst outlining how development is to be delivered to the right places considering the needs of businesses and organisations as well as other stakeholders including local communities.
Fife Council is currently preparing its next LDP and upon adoption will replace the current LDP 'FIFEplan (2017)'. To make the plan more representative and effective, the Council wants to ensure consultation reaches as wide an audience as possible.
As many third sector organisations in Fife are well-informed and knowledgable about their community's needs and regularly utilise local facilities to deliver their services, we believe it is important that groups and organisations take part in this consultation to ensure the next LDP reflects local community needs and aspirations.
In this survey, you will be asked to describe your thoughts on your organisation's current premises and surrounding area; the issues that you want the next LDP to focus on (e.g factors concerning employment/workforce access, travel and accessibility, quality, and availability of local services); as well as an opportunity to highlight anything unique or important to your organisation and/or community.
