Participants at this training session will gain the tools to deliver a basic, interactive employment rights workshop with people who use their services or with employability colleagues. Participants must have already participated in a previous employment law for employability training session or have knowledge of/training in employment rights through other means.
The aim of this training is to build the capacity of the employability sector in Fife to ensure colleagues, and those they support, have the necessary insight and knowledge to resolve common workplace issues appropriately and timeously and in so doing improve fair work outcomes and job sustainability.
Participants will be taught how to deliver a short, 1.5hr interactive workshop using case studies to help people explore a range of common employment law issues.
Participants will also receive a leaflet outlining a basic checklist of what people can expect when they start in work and where to go for support if things go wrong.
