  • Options in Life - employability support for young adults

    Created: 03/02/2023

The Options in Life Peer Mentoring Employability seeks to connect to young adults with additional support needs who want to make new friends, gain confidence and valuable voluntary experience in the workplace.

    • The aim at Options in Life is to give young adults the support they need to gain skills to work, both paid and voluntary
    • An inclusive safe area is provided to make friends and learn new skills
    • First-hand experience of jobs delivered by professionals in that field is provided
    • A fun day discovering different voluntary options that is creative, explorative and engaging.
    • The group runs every Wednesday for 4-12 weeks at different centres and only costs £7 per week.

Options in Life will be visiting the Methilhill Community Children’s Initiative at the beginning of March for six weeks to learn different skills, from learning about survival skills, to what it takes to work as a Youth Worker.

If this sounds interesting to yourself or a client or you would would like to join the Options in Life mailing list for the many different opportunities on offer, contact - [email protected] for further information.

More informatoin is available at the Options in Life Website.
