    News/Events Category: General News

St Andrews Botanic Garden is delighted to share a new community project in the Garden, "Planting for Your Piece" and the team is looking for people to join!

This new project is designed to support people who are accessing mental health services in North East Fife through gardening sessions based here at St Andrews Botanic Garden, exploring the process of growing and creating food from patch to plate. Sessions will take place every 2 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon from 13:30 - 15:30. Sessions are designed to be informal, with time set aside for a chat and a cuppa and opportunities to learn new skills and spend time in this relaxing, natural setting of the Garden.

If you as an individual would like to take part or have any members of your group who could benefit from connecting with nature, learning new gardening skills and meeting new people please get in touch to sign up for the sessions [email protected], the project will run from 01 March 2023 through to the end of December.

Sessions are completely free of charge and there is travel funding support available.
