    Created: 28/01/2023

The Scottish Government has recently launched the new National Carers Strategy, a document which highlights their plans to improve the experiences of unpaid carers in Scotland. The strategy includes 89 actions that will show the intended steps towards and improvement and a continued commitment to working with local commissioners to improve the availability and range of short breaks provision across Scotland, including easy-access preventative breaks support.

The full national carers strategy is available here
An easy read version is available too.
