    Post: Support Worker

    Hours: Various Full Time and Part Time hours

    Salary: £10.90 per hour + Retention Payment

    Location: Kinloss Park - Cupar

    Contract: Permanent

    Hillcrest Futures' Cupar Shared Living Accommodation provides Housing Support and Care at Home services to four individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions on a 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week basis.

    As a Support Worker, you will:

    • Deliver a high standard of care for individual’s in-line with their outcomes plans
    • Provide holistic daily living support to individuals, including assistance with cooking, cleaning, budgeting and personal care, including intimate personal care
    • Provide support and encouragement to enable individuals to participate in and enjoy leisure, social and other meaningful activities
    • Provide active support to enable individuals to achieve and manage their health and social care needs through a holistic and person-centred approach

    You will:

    • Have a positive flexible attitude
    • Be a good communicator, both written and verbal
    • Have good time-keeping and organisational skills
    • Be able to demonstrate transferrable skills relating to care
    • Have the right values, behavours and attitude to work effectively with individuals who reuire care and support
    • Have a can do attitude and be willing to be part of a team as well as working on your own
    • Possess an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or the willingness to undertake study to achieve this
    • Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post

    You will receive £500 if you are successfully appointed with Hillcrest Futures. £250 on successful completion of your 6 month probation period and £250 on successful completion of 12 months service.
