    Festive Opening Times in the City of Dunfermline 2022/23

    Baldridgeburn Pantry (Baldridgeburn Community Centre, Dunfermline, KY12 9EH)

    Dunfermline Food Bank (Liberty Centre, Pitreavie Business Park, Dunfermline, KY11 8QS)


    Referral needed for food parcels. Your local food banks work with referral agencies to issue food vouchers to those in need of emergency food in times of crisis. We provide a minimum of three days' nutritionally balanced, tinned and dried food donated by the local community.

    Food items offered throughout the week eg. Bread, tinned food, frozen meal portion.

    Food For Your Future Pantry (Touch Community Centre, 30 Mercer Pl, Dunfermline, KY11 4UG)

    Free Pantry bag for residents in the Dunfermline area. Store cupboard essentials, chilled/frozen food, fruit &veg, bakery products and sanitary products
    Opening hours: Call 07730 809 375 on a Wednesday to register. Between 10:00 - 13:00. You will be given a time slot to collect your bag From Touch Community Centre on Thursdays.

    Surplus Food Waste is a community group that works with supermarkets and retailers to provide much-needed surplus food waste to those who need it most. We do this by organising surplus pop-ups in public community areas.

    Oasis' is a friendly space, offering a place to sit and enjoy soup/sandwiches, tea/coffee and biscuits.  Free, donations welcome.

    Dunfermline Churches Winter Cafes - full list

    Warm and Well Community Evening with the Vine Church (Vine Church, 131 Garvock Hill, Dunfermline, KY11 4JU)

    Come along to meet others and relax in our large, warm and comfortable cafe and enjoy a free hot meal and refreshments.

    Opening hours: 17:00 - 20:30 on 14, 21, and 28 December, as well as dates in January - March 2023.

    Community Cafe with the Link Church (39 Priory Ln, Dunfermline KY12 7DU)

    Soup and teas.

    Opening hours: Mondays 11:30 - 14:00. 

    Fife-Wide food provisions:

    Café Inc is a free lunch club for children, young people and families during the school holidays. It provides a free, sit-in meal for all at various venues across Fife. No need to book just drop in and enjoy a free lunch.

    More information will appear on the Fife Council website in advance of the holiday period when Café Inc will be running.

    Warm spaces: 

    You can now view an interactive map showing the locations of the grant-awarded Warm Spaces across Fife, as well as information about other Warm Spaces that have been set up in addition.
