    Our weekly Community Meal provides an opportunity for local people to meet each other, share stories, and eat together. Anyone can come along. Pay what you feel.

    Nourish Support Centre (Elizabeth House, Barclay Court, Kirkcaldy, KY1 3WE)

    Our food support service is open to families in Fife who have a household member with additional support needs and are struggling financially. This is mainly families who have children with additional support needs, but some adults with additional support needs also use this service. We ask members of this service to pay £4 suggested donation to use the service. Our Main food support service currently only runs once per week on a Thursday, times vary and deliveries can be arranged . On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we receive surplus food from local bakers.

    Surplus Food Waste is a community group that works with supermarkets and retailers to provide much needed surplus food waste to those who need it most. We do this by organising surplus popups in public community areas.

    The Community Fridge (8 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY2 5AW)

    A resource for donated and surplus food that keeps good food in circulation. Anyone can use the community fridge.

    Opening hours: Thursdays from 14:30 and Fridays mornings. Free or donation.

    The Lang Toun Larder (8 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY2 5AW)
     
    A community pantry that collects and redistributes donated food that is unsold or surplus for residents of Kirkcaldy. Members of the pantry ‘shop’ in the pantry weekly using a set number of points to spend on fresh, frozen, and store-cupboard ingredients. There is also a ‘pick and mix’ refill station to top up basic essentials such as flour, tea, coffee, rice and pasta. Members pay a weekly fee of £2 that is used to run the pantry.

    The Ecology Centre Winter Support Programme (Kinghorn Loch, Burntisland KY3 9YG)

    Free Soup, Bread and Hot Drink. Community Fridge - Access to low-cost food, 5 days per week. Emergency Food Voucher - Food Vouchers to use at your local co-op. Winter packs for families. Benefit check. Access to personal care packs.

    Opening hours: Soup Tuesday -  11:00 - 15:00

    Fife-Wide food provisions:

    Café Inc is a free lunch club for children, young people and families during the school holidays. It provides a free, sit-in meal for all at various venues across Fife. No need to book just drop in and enjoy a free lunch.

     More information will appear on the Fife Council website in advance of the holiday period when Café Inc will be running.

    Warm spaces: 

    You can now view an interactive map showing the locations of the grant-awarded Warm Spaces across Fife, as well as information about other Warm Spaces that have been set up in addition.
