    Community Fridge/Larder/Pantry 
    A place to meet and have a coffee and a chat and take some surplus food supplied by local shops and food producers

    Cupar Community Fridge (County Buildings, St Catherine’s Street, Cupar, KY15 4TA)

    Making surplus perishable food freely available to members of the public. Surplus food is provided by local businesses or members of the public and is then available for collection by people who need it.


    Opening hours: Tuesday 11:00 - 12:00 and Friday 15:00 - 16:00

    Cupar Food Bank (21 St Catherine Street, Cupar, KY15 4TA)


    The foodbank works with referral agencies to issue food vouchers to those in need of emergency food in times of crisis. We provide a minimum of three days' nutritionally balanced, tinned and dried food donated by the local community. We also provide toiletries, domestic cleaning products and pet food


    Opening hours: Monday 11:00 - 15:00, Wednesday 16:00 - 18:00, Friday 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 18:00.

    Opening hours: every Thursday at the East Neuk Centre from 13:00 - 15:00  and Friday from 10:00 - 15:00.

    Food parcels to families and individuals in the East Neuk and signposting advice for other services. Access to landline, laptops and Wifi.

    Offering a mix of surplus fresh food and donated ambient storecupboard essentials. Free and open to everyone in the Leuchars and Guardbridge communities.

    Community Fridge/Larder/Pantry Located within the NEF Community Hub café, short shelf life, or surplus to requirements food is available for anyone to help themselves. This helps to reduce food waste.

    Community Fridge/Larder/Pantry Making surplus perishable and ambient food available to everyone in the community. Refreshments available – tea/coffee/hot chocolate.

    Storehouse Food Bank (St David's Center, 23 Albany Park, St Andrews, KY16 8BP)

    Food Bank. The amount a client can take away with them is largely dependent on what their need is. As a rough guide though, we offer 2 bags per adult, 1 bag per child per visit.

    Taybridgehead Food Bank (Wormit Parish Church, Wormit, Newport-on-Tay DD6 8LJ) 

    We are not open to the public. Our parcels are made up in the Foodbank and then delivered to all clients homes – we have been doing this since the start of the Pandemic and think that we will continue to do so in the future.


    Opening hours: All parcels are delivered on a Wednesday afternoon. Any request for an emergency parcel is dealt with immediately.

    Fife-Wide food provisions:

    Café Inc is a free lunch club for children, young people and families during the school holidays. It provides a free, sit-in meal for all at various venues across Fife. No need to book just drop in and enjoy a free lunch.

     More information will appear on the Fife Council website in advance of the holiday period when Café Inc will be running.

    Warm spaces: 

    You can now view an interactive map showing the locations of the grant-awarded Warm Spaces across Fife, as well as information about other Warm Spaces that have been set up in addition.

    Open: Tuesday – Saturday: complimentary hot drinks as well as having a range of games and jigsaws to enjoy in the branch.

    Open: Wednesdays 10:30 -  13:30  – offering tea/coffee, soup and bread. The Sanctuary will also be open for contemplation, prayer and reflection.

    Starts Thursday 01 Dec – until the end of March 2023. 

    Open: 11:00 - 13:00, weekly. Free lunch, workshops and support. 18-25 years only.

    Social Cafe in County Buildings Cupar (St Catherine Street, Cupar, Fife, KY15 4TA)


    Open: On Fridays (10:00 – 12:00) – running for 3 weeks (Friday 09, 16 & 23 December) – offering a space to come and chat with others over a cuppa and snack. Each session will also include Christmas paper crafts and there will be opportunities to find out about what’s going on in the area and how to get involved in local learning opportunities.

    Old Parish Centre on Short Lane (Short Ln, Cupar, KY15 5EQ)

    Open every Saturday from noon until 16:00. Cosy Sessions include free refreshments, chat & activities plus you can charge your devices in the hub. All welcome!

    Fife Befriending with Castle (Tom Rodgers Mill, E Burnside, Cupar KY15 4DQ)
    Do you or someone you know live in Cupar or close by and want a safe and warm place to have a coffee and socialise with others 50+? 

    Castle drop -in lounge is open Monday’s 10:30-12:30 · Wednesday’s 12:30-14:30 and Saturday 11:00-14:00 and right next to Castle Furniture Cupar store. You’ll always be welcome with open arms and banter by our regulars. A great place to relax and meet new people.
