SGN Safe and Warm scheme
Created: 01/12/2022The Centre for Sustainable Energy is working with SGN to administer grants to small organisations who support people with the cost of living crisis and energy costs increase.
This new scheme aims to support people in high vulnerability locations who need help to stay safe and warm over the winter. It will provide funding and support for local initiatives helping customers with carbon monoxide safety and alleviating fuel poverty.
SGN looks after the gas network in the south of England and across Scotland. In Scotland, there is already significant support from SGN, but two specific locations have been identified as being less well provided for. Awards of approximately £10,000 are being made available for initiatives in Scotland working in:

Funders looking for small grassroots organization who work with hard-to-reach groups, are embedded in their local area, and are keen to join a network of organisations sharing learning and best practice. If you are aware of any relevant organisations or initiatives in your area, please pass this information on.
