The International 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violencecampaign starts soon - running from 25 November - 10 December.
During this time, Fife Violence Against Women Partnership (FVAWP) wishes to highlight the many aspects of gender bias and gender-based violence and the need for change, keeping in mind the goal set within Priority 1 of Equally Safe - "Scottish society embraces equality and rejects all forms of violence against women and girls."
The FVAWP local Programme for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence can be found online here. Please review the programme and take time to book any of the events that are of interest to you.
The programme this year contains:
a mixture of in-person and online events, including talks and training sessions across a wide range of subjects;
a wide range of social media inputs, including posts, videos, blogs and chat events;
some practical ideas for involvement during the campaign; and
a number of community-based discussion events.
More information about the campaign is available here.
