  • Lochgelly and Kincardine Community Health and Wellbeing Centres newsletter

    Created: 10/11/2022

The third edition of the Lochgelly and Kincardine Community Health and Wellbeing Centres newsletter has been published, bringing you all the latest news and updates on the project.

    The latest updates include:

    • Planning applications for the Kincardine site at Tulliallan and the Lochgelly site at Francis Street have been submitted to Fife Council
    • Work on the Full Business Case progresses
    • Plans to expand engagement with local communities are underway, including future local events

Work is well underway to develop new purpose-built Community Health and Wellbeing Centres in Lochgelly and Kincardine, replacing the older health centres.

The new facilities will bring together a range of health and wellbeing services – from GP practices and social care to community and voluntary services – improving the experience of patients and service users.

Providing a broad range of services locally and delivering healthcare in a different way to meet the needs of local people, with additional emphasis on wellbeing and prevention, will help support local people to live more independent and healthier lives.
