  • Corra Foundation - Children and Families Fund

    Created: 20/10/2022
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Corra Foundation's Children and Families Fund aims to support direct work with children and families affected by alcohol and drugs. Funders are seeking applications that are based on partnership approaches that demonstrate how they will take a Whole Family Approach which is Relational and Rights Based when delivering front-line services which support children and families.

The involvement of children and families with lived experience in the project proposal will be a key assessment criteria, and they are particularly interested in applications which include co-production approaches to service design, delivery and review.

All applications must demonstrate how the proposal considers the conclusions of the Independent Care Review as they relate directly to the children and families the initiative will support. You must demonstrate an understanding of the need for the proposal to align with the implementation of the Care Review, as outlined in Plan 21-24 and Change Programme ONE and how the proposed work will relate to the national and local context which the organisation is operating in.

    Who can apply

Applicants must be currently delivering frontline services in Scotland to support people who use drugs, people in recovery and/or their families.

Applicants can be charities, social enterprises, community groups and other voluntary organisations that have independent governance and an asset lock.

    How to apply

E-mail or phone (0131 444 4020) the Corra Team to arrange a chat. Following your conversation with one of Corra’s Grant Advisors, a link to the online application form will then be sent to you. All applications to the Children & Families Fund will need to provide a letter of support from their local Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP) Chair AND the Chair of the Children’s Services Planning Partnership.

    When to apply

Applications close at 13:00 on 01 December 2022.
