The event will focus on how the Department for Work and Pensions can provide support for employers to recruit, retain and develop people with disabilities and health conditions to enhance their workforce.

DWP is working in partnership with many stakeholders to help fill a record number of vacancies, supporting customers into the labour market and helping them progress into a career.
The free conference aims to give you an opportunity to hear more about DWP’s commitment to support people with disabilities and health conditions into employment.
The event will include guest speakers from DWP Disability Services Advocacy Team, Mental Health Support Service providers, Disability Confident employers, and colleagues from the North East District Jobcentre Plus offices.
