    It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

    Social Security Scotland has recently begun the process of transferring the awards of adults in Scotland currently in receipt of Disability Living Allowance and Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions

    People currently receiving Personal Independence Payment and some people who receive Disability Living Allowance will have their awards replaced by Adult Disability Payment which will be administered by Social Security Scotland.

    The team is currently holding a series of events to provide information to stakeholders about how this will take place.

    These events are for stakeholders who support people living with a disability, long-term health condition or terminal illness who are currently in receipt of Personal Independence Payment or Disability Living Allowance from the Department for Work and Pensions.

    The information events will be held on:

    • Personal Independence Payment to Adult Disability Payment case transfer information session on Tuesday 18 October at 10:30 to 12:30
    • Disability Living Allowance to Adult Disability Payment case transfer information session on Thursday 27 October at 14:00 to 16:00

    The events will provide information on Social Security Scotland’s case transfer process including:

    • an introduction to case transfer;
    • the timeline for transfers;
    • the process and the client journey; and
    • how we will communicate with clients throughout this journey.

    Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the events.

    These events are designed for stakeholders who provide support to people living with a disability, long-term health condition or terminal illness who are currently in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment.
