    This event is being organised by Democratic Society, Strathclyde University, and Fife Council

    Workshops have been organised by the Democratic Society, Strathclyde University, and Fife Council to provide an opportunity for local people and stakeholders to come together and make recommendations on the priorities for the Cowdenbeath Area and the future development of Lochore Meadows Country Park.

    This event is free to attend, with vouchers offered for attendance (£40 for each workshop attended). There will also be tea/coffee and either breakfast or lunch offered prior to the workshop, depending on the session you select.

    This workshop will take place at the Willie Clarke Visitor Centre, Lochore Meadows Country Park.

    Decision-Making Workshop:  Participants will consider the ideas generated at a previous workshop, discussing, developing, prioritising and putting forward recommendations for the future of the park.

    • Dates/times: 09:30 - 13:30 or 14:00 - 15:30 on 02 December 2022 or 09:30 - 13:30 or 09:30 - 17:30 on 03 December 2022.

    In addition to the main aims of the workshops, participants will contribute to research on the engagement process which will help inform participatory engagement events in the future.

    Who should attend

    Anyone who lives, works, or has an interest in the Cowdenbeath area or Lochore Meadows Country Park. The group wants to attract a wide audience, to achieve a balanced and representative set of recommendations. The workshops don’t require any prior knowledge or experience.
