SDS Options (Fife) is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to provide companionship to a fun-loving, 22-year-old young lady with a great sense of humour.
She enjoys walking, going to the cinema and going out to cafés and similar activities but does not like crowds or being the centre of attention.
Whilst the client is non-verbal she will communicate via text and she is passionate about being treated as an individual.
Support to be provided:
- Accompanying to social activities.
- Awareness of social situations, such as large crowds.
- Provision of reassurance when undertaking activities.
- Provision of companionship and conversation.
- Promotion of being treated as an individual, supporting choices and decisions.
About you:
- You must have a caring nature with an awareness of what support is required.
- Calming and reassuring.
- Be friendly and outgoing with a good sense of humour.
- Enjoy going to the cinema and walking.
- Social awareness.
