    Post: Step by Step Groups Coordinator

    Hours: 21 hours per week. The working pattern shall be: 3 full days 09:00 - 17:00 – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to fit with the pattern of the groups.

    Salary: £14,640 - 21 hrs per week, plus 6% contribution to pension.

    Location: Home based - Fife

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day facilitation of Step by Step – Fife – community bereavement support. The project will provide support to bereaved adults through an innovative project focused upon building community resilience. The project will allow participants the opportunity to form social and friendship networks which will in turn help with their wellbeing and combat factors such as loneliness and isolation.

    Candidates are required to have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to provide supervision support from a distance.

    Excellent communication skills are essential as the postholder is required to respond effectively to a wide range of enquiries which includes bereaved people. You will be required to establish effective working relationships with a range of Cruse volunteers and staff, as well as organisations and funders. You will ensure Group targets are met as outlined in our Strategy and associated Implementation plan.

    The post holder is required to have a good basic level of fitness for leading walking groups.
