    The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust gives grants to registered charities that work in the UK. It focuses on specific priorities every year. All grant rounds in 2022 will focus on the arts:

    • Grant rounds 3 and 4: The Arts - BAME Communities. This includes BAME performers outreach projects with BAME communities, and initiatives to increase participation with BAME communities.

    Check the website for full details on eligibility as income and expenditure criteria vary by grant round.

    2023 rounds will focus on rehabilitation of prisoners, and care experienced young people.

    Who can apply
    Funders can only award grants to organisations registered with the Charity Commission (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or OSCR, or exempt from registration.

    For Round 4, the charity's operating income and operating expenditure must be a minimum of £1 million. There is no maximum income or expenditure.
