  • Storage Space - Dunfermline (The Big Hoose Project)

    Created: 02/09/2022

Fife Council is looking at potential localised storage options to store and keep goods acquired through The Big Hoose project.

This storage would be accessed by the services requiring the stock, and the inventory would be specific to what they (Foodbank, local referrers, pantries etc) collectively feel they need to have.

It ultimately will prevent people from having to travel back and forth to Lochgelly, increase the volume of goods the Cottage Family Centre receives from Amazon (and others), and hopefully means they can distribute more to those who will really benefit from it.

After trying a few storage options, nothing has come to fruition and Fife Council facilities will be getting used for a whole multitude of different services over the winter period.

If you know of storage space or a service in Dunfermline that is able to assist with this, please contact Ashleigh (FVA Volunteering Development Officer) at [email protected]
