Consultation event for people with learning disabilities to capture views on being a victim of crime
Created: 14/07/2022The Scottish Government is hosting a consultation event for people with learning disabilities as part of the consultation on improving the experiences of justice for victims of crime. This is an opportunity for people to give feedback about their experiences, and their ideas for making things better. It will probably be more meaningful for people who have gone through the process of reporting a crime, and even more so if they have gone on to give evidence at trial. But that doesn't preclude others - it would be interesting to hear people's reasons for not reporting, for instance.
This is an online event and will be held on Teams. The date is Tuesday 26 July from 09:30 - 13:00.
