  • Making Work Work for Women Returners - recruiting for August

    Created: 29/06/2022, Updated: 06/07/2022

Making Work Work – for Women Returners is now recruiting women returner participants for their training prorgramme starting in August after the school summer holidays.

The programme is fully-funded for eligible women.

Research published this weekend in the Sunday Times found that for the first time in three decades, the number of women who are leaving the workforce due to ‘looking after family’ has grown.

The course will be of particular interest to women who are facing challenges to find work following a career break of 6+ months (for any reason including childcare, postgraduate study, relocation, redundancy, caring or illness).

There is more information on the Making Work Work website, including participant testimonials and the application pack.

Further information and resources are available and content is shareable from the Making Work Work social media pages:

If you have any questions about the programme, please get in touch: [email protected]
