    Post: School-based Counsellor

    Hours: 28 hours (4 days) per week, Term Time (Falkirk Council School Terms)

    Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata)

    Contract: 1-year fixed term

    Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH) seeks applications from individuals with a formal qualification in counselling, specifically a humanistic, psychodynamic or integrative approach. This individual should have demonstrable experience in working with young people, aged 12 – 18 years. This post will be based in a local high school and requires a person with considerable experience, resilience, empathy, and a clear understanding of how social, environmental and health and wellbeing factors impact an individual’s whole life. Applicants should be accredited or working towards accreditation with a professional body.
