This course involves 2 online afternoon sessions. Places are reserved at all sessions for those booking for the starting date of 12 September 2022 (1:00 – 5:00pm, held online).
All employees have basic rights in the workplace. It is important for us to understand these rights and to know what we and the people we support are entitled to.
This training is specially designed to help frontline employability staff in Fife have a better understanding of employment rights for their clients, explore common issues that arise when people start a new job and know where to go to get help if things cannot be resolved easily.
Participants will:
The training will be delivered by Kathleen Bolt, Mediation Services Ltd. Kathleen is a solicitor and mediator, she specialises in employment and equality law and workplace mediations.
All participants will receive a certification of attendance.
This course will take place over 2 afternoon sessions:

A third optional session will be on offer to support participants to adapt their learning and develop tools/training suitable for sharing with clients on basic employment rights and where to go to get support.
